Brand is the bottom line

We build strong, effective brands that create positive change in the world and drive strong commercial growth — without compromising on creativity.

Insight is our North Star

One fundamental truth about your audience can inspire a powerful message that lasts. For us, creativity begins with insight.

Never fly solo

Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We build loyal relationships by listening to our clients’ needs and leaving our egos at the door.

Our People

Jen Lane
Head of Production

Jen is our resident production supremo. She ensures every project runs smoothly, no matter how complex or challenging the brief.

Jen began her career producing youth documentaries in Australia before being appointed Head of Television at Wolff Olins in London, working with brands such as Orange, Odeon, Channel 5 and Diageo.

She then went on to forge an illustrious career working as a freelance producer, on a variety of high end, large scale projects — most notably the ITV rebrand and Sky Atlantic channel launch.

A consultant for several years at BBC Worldwide (now BBC Studios), Jen was instrumental in revolutionising the production processes of the creative department and wider Brands Marketing team. Her contribution led to a dramatic improvement in the team’s productivity, enabling them to deliver world-class global campaigns.

From animation to live action, print and digital, Jen has mastered the art of production. She also has an enviable black book that’s brimming with talent.  We think it speaks volumes about her ability to foster strong working relationships with clients and creatives alike.

Gavin Leisfield
Creative Director

Some might call Gavin a perfectionist. And they’d be right. Like a true craftsman, he carefully considers every element without losing sight of the bigger picture. The result is finely tuned, precise creative — every time.

Gavin cut his teeth working in agencies in Amsterdam and Portland before joining Campaign’s agency of the decade, Dare, to work on Sony, Vodafone, Barclays and BMW.

He embarked on a freelance career to work on the ITV rebrand and won a Gold Lion at Cannes for his work on the CITV rebrand.

During his consultancy at BBC Worldwide, Gavin was one of the principal architects of the organisation’s brand overhaul. He made a profound impact on the creative department during his tenure, helping to attract the industry’s brightest stars, working closely with the ECD to shape the company’s future direction.

Gavin has lectured at Arts University Bournemouth and is part of the new London theatre company, Palimpsest. A talented strategist, designer, director and animator, he’s what we like to call a quadruple threat.

Rafaela Perera
Creative Director

Rafaela is the sort of person who likes to run towards a problem. Not that she’s a glutton for punishment, she just relishes a challenge.

She kicked off her career in Melbourne ad agency BADJAR Ogilvy, working as a copywriter on accounts such as BMW, McCain, Pioneer and The Australian National Lottery. When she moved to the UK, Rafaela made the leap into television, working for major broadcasters like Sky, ITV and Viacom.

Before joining Littlehawk, Rafaela worked at BBC Studios (formerly BBC Worldwide) as Executive Creative Director. During her tenure, she radically overhauled the creative department and expanded the team’s capability to service content, brands and EMEA channels.  The team’s critical and commercial success quickly led to their appointment as lead agency for the BBC’s biggest global franchise brands including Sherlock, Top Gear and Doctor Who. She has spearheaded some of the BBC’s most successful global integrated campaigns and has collaborated with world-renowned talent including writers, showrunners and executive producers.

Rafaela innately understands the power of great storytelling and how to connect to a wide audience.
